I don’t know why I like strawberries and oats, but they seem to go together. Adding fruit to any type of muffin is an easy way to use a natural sweetener compared to more sugar.

Ingredients

1 cup of whole oat (or quick kitchen)
1/2 Casonade cup (packaged)
1 cup 0% Greek fatty yogurt
1/4 cup of vegetable oil
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 cup of all use flour
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1 cup of strawberries, chopped

Instructions

Heat the oven with 400F and line a muffin mold with muffin lining.

Mix oats, sugar, Greek yogurt, vegetable oil, egg and vanilla until they are combined. Add the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda and mix. Fold the strawberries.

Bake for 15-17 minutes until a toothpick comes out of the center of the muffin. Let cool (they have a better taste at room temperature). These muffins freeze well.
