Low-Effort Wellness Habits That Really Make a Difference

Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!

I’m sharing some of my favorite effortless wellness habits that actually make a difference because not everything has to be expensive or complicated. 😉

Hello friends! How are you doing? I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Ours was very busy, but great. We managed to have our first date night in a while (the best!!) and had a great time spending time with the kids and pups. This week I have calls from clients, business mentoring callsand I’m working on my CPI centurion modules.

For today’s post, I wanted to share some of my favorite effortless wellness habits. To be honest, I love all the gadgets and fun routines, but the reality is that many of them are not realistic for a busy life or a tight budget. Life’s Best Health Hacks Are Truly Freeso I’m sharing some of my must-haves today along with some of the fun *extras* at the end of this post.

(Please keep in mind this is not medical advice)

Low-Effort Wellness Habits That Really Make a Difference

Morning light.

Morning light has a huge impact on energy and circadian rhythm. It tells your body, “Hey, it’s morning!” » so that it can continue to produce melatonin at the right time. Light in the morning = sleep better at night

Walk.

Walking is one of the top three activities you can do for your health. I like to walk at least once a day, whether it’s walking Maisey (I can’t wait to walk Lola soon), going for a walk on my treadmill, or strolling through Target or the mall with the team. It’s great for general movement and function, sleep, blood sugar control, core stability, and more.

Simple supplements.

You do NOT need to take a ton of supplements to get amazing results. The best supplements are those that have been recommended to you specifically after functional testing, but here are the basics that I like: Daily nutritional support, Omega-3, Vitamin D, And Magnesium. That’s it. (EquiLife has these awesome starter batteries now!)

Sleep routines.

Sleep is free, and if you can get it, take advantage of it! It can be difficult to make sleep a priority, especially if you’re a parent and nighttime is your only quiet time. I try to remind myself that doomscrolling is stealing my sleep, so I stop it, read a book, and try to get as much of it in as possible. My tips for sleeping are all in this article!

The nervous system resets.

It’s easy to underestimate the impact of supporting the nervous system on overall health. You can’t heal by flying or fighting, so if you’re an anxious, stressed person (like me lol), here are a few things that may help: meditation, box breathing, journaling, time with friends, eating out, time to do ANYTHING (I tell a lot of clients to watch a mindless TV show they love), time outside, hiking, yoga/stretching, etc.

If you’re looking for *extras*, here are a few that I think are definitely worth it:

Magnesium. Many people are deficient in magnesium, partly because we burn it when we’re stressed. It’s my favorite.

Red light. This one is a bit pricey but you can use FITNESSISTA for a huge discount and it’s like the Swiss army knife of wellness devices.

Electrolytes. These are inexpensive and can help replenish the spark plugs in our cells. I recently switched to Trace electrolytes Thriving market and I love the taste and the ingredients.

Blue light blockers. These are my favorites.

EquiLife Detox. I do this four times a year and I always feel great afterwards. If you would like to join our detox community, collect your kit here then send me an email (gina@fitnessista.com subject DETOX). We have a tour starting February 2nd.

If you are looking for more, my best biohacking products are in this article.

You don’t need to go crazy with gadgets and supplements to have a balanced routine. The best strategies are those that fit your budget and your life. This is the foundation I build each client on before adding anything more advanced.

So tell me, my friends: what are some of your favorite effortless wellness habits?
