This lens pasta sauce is my kind of recipe. Delicious, inexpensive, and it can be served on almost anything.

Why use lenses instead of chopped beef? They are a fraction of the cost and most of the flavor of the tomato sauce is due to tomatoes. You don’t really need meat (although I admit that the meat is quite luxurious).
It is much better for the planet to eat lenses so that you get a win-win. You spend less money and stop global warming. YES!

My daughter became a vegetarian last year, so I did all the favorites of the meatless family. In fact, I better like this sauce than a typical Bolognese because it is lighter and does not weigh my stomach.
I also like how easy it is and you can freeze it! Pour pasta, eggs, toasted bread or where you like to pour the pasta sauce.
For all these members of Weight Watchers, this recipe is zero point. And that? I love this weight that observers have made lenses a free food because they are so good for you.
I did lens tacos And Mushroom lentil burgers With great success.

One of the reasons why the lenses are better than your average bean is that they are small, so they only take 15 to 20 minutes to cook. This makes this recipe work because you can reduce and merge the sauce when you cook the lenses. Then you just throw the lenses when ready.
I love them in a curry called dal. I could eat this every day with rice and feel completely satisfied. Dal is something I order in restaurants but I should get there! What am I waiting for?

Do you use lenses instead of beef? What are the recipes that work for you?
