Hello friends! Happy Friday! How was the week? It’s been great here, but I’m still blown away by how quickly December is starting to go by. I can’t believe there are less than two weeks until Christmas and even though I’ve gotten through the majority of my list, there’s still a lot to do.
In between all of this, we try to find time for fun: a night at Winterhaven, our annual Christmas trip to the Princess, baking cookies, and watching holiday movies. I’d love to know what you’re doing this weekend! It’s basketball, we see Zootopia 2 with friends and have a Christmas party. I hope you have a pleasant weekend!
(I LOVE this book! It’s light, fun and festive)
For now, it’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party. This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love hearing about your favorites, so feel free to shout out something you like in the comments section below.

Read, watch, listen:
Michael Bublé performs the Concert with the Poor at the Vatican. This has been my working soundtrack all week!
Last of Vivrelle! GINAHARNEY offers you your first month free.
I bought these advent calendars at Target for the girls. These are cookie dough ice cream bites! (No added gluten but they contain oats)
Not a favorite… Moulin Rouge. I was SO excited to go last weekend and ended up leaving during intermission. This is one of my favorite films, but the story didn’t translate well into the musical. The book was… not good… and they also added more current songs to the mix. The whole show seemed like a farce to me, plus I forgot my jacket in the car and was freezing, so I stopped. The only other show I’ve ever left at intermission is cats, which says a lot lol.
Happiness tips for busy friends.
Shopping, health and good food:
These cute clogs. I had been eyeing Birkenstocks for a while, but wasn’t sure if I could wear them since I wore the exact same shoe in 5th grade. I remembered how comfortable they were and how they went with any denim outfit, so I bought a cheaper pair at Target. Liv was immediately obsessed with them, so I ordered a pair for her too.
Lots of Farm Rio this week!
This pullover
And this dress.
I had the dress during their Black Friday sale and the sweater is from Rent the track…but I’m tempted to keep it. 😉
I also received this Favorite Daughter sweater from RTR <— this link allows you to benefit from 60% off your first month:
This Japanese barbecue sauce is everything. I used it in this recipe last night and it was a 12/10, but I just enjoyed it basting on meat and veg this week.
Grammie de Madre’s famous recipe
